Managed Agricultural Production

Commercial Production Partnerships

Global Agrichain manages commercial agricultural production on behalf of institutional and private clients, delivering professionally managed farming operations from land preparation through harvest, storage and marketing. For companies, institutions, commodity buyers, family offices, and other commercial organisations seeking professionally managed crop production in Tanzania, this is a turnkey production management service, not a requirement to build your own farming operation.

Why Production Partnerships?

Secure future commodity supply before harvest
Greater traceability from planting through to delivery
Ability to specify production standards and crop varieties
Full visibility throughout the growing season
Dedicated production aligned to your commercial requirements
No need to purchase or manage farmland
No need to recruit farm management staff
One commercial partner managing the entire process

How the Partnership Works

The partner engages Global Agrichain under a commercial agreement to manage an agreed agricultural production programme. The commercial responsibilities, cost arrangements and delivery terms are defined in the contract before production begins. Global Agrichain manages the entire farming operation using its own operational infrastructure, team and supply chain.

1

Define the Production Programme

Agree crop, target volume, location and season. Set out the cost structure, responsibilities, delivery method and commercial terms in a written agreement before planting begins.

2

Global Agrichain Manages Production

We handle land preparation, certified seed procurement, fertilizer application, crop protection, planting, farm management and harvesting using our operational infrastructure and field teams.

3

Harvest, Delivery and Settlement

Depending on the commercial agreement, harvested commodities may be delivered directly to the partner, marketed by Global Agrichain on the partner's behalf, or exported through our trade channels. Settlement is carried out according to the agreed contractual terms.

4

Production Reporting

Throughout the production cycle, partners receive periodic updates including field progress, crop development stage, weather impacts, expected harvest dates, production costs where applicable, and a final harvest report. Reporting frequency and format are agreed at the start of each partnership.

Rights, obligations, costs and settlement terms are set out between the two parties in a commercial contract. Prospective partners should seek independent legal advice on the structure of any agreement.

Do you offer out-grower schemes or third-party estate management?
